Position Summary</b><br>

The Knoxville Ice Bears are seeking a skilled, creative, and reliable Videographer / On-Ice Content Creator to capture high-quality video content for game days, social media, promotional campaigns, sponsor activations, and team storytelling.<br>
</div><div>
This role is designed for someone who can shoot in a fast-paced live sports environment, edit polished content, and capture unique perspectives both around the arena and on the ice. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, has strong camera and editing skills, knows how to ice skate safely, and owns their own skates.<br>
</div><div>
Availability for Knoxville Ice Bears game days is mandatory. This position also requires the ability to stand, walk, skate, and work on your feet for 3+ hours during games and events.<br>
</div><div><b>
Key Responsibilities</b><br>
</div><ul><li>
 Capture video content during Knoxville Ice Bears home games, practices, community appearances, media days, promotional events, and behind-the-scenes moments</li><li>
 Film game-day content including player arrivals, warmups, fan interactions, crowd shots, sponsor activations, in-game moments, intermission activities, and postgame coverage</li><li>
 Capture on-ice or rink-level content when approved by game operations and production staff</li><li>
 Assist in creating content for social media, digital platforms, in-arena video boards, advertisements, hype videos, and promotional campaigns</li><li>
 Shoot clean, stable, properly exposed footage in a fast-paced live sports environment</li><li>
 Follow shot lists, content calendars, and game-day production needs while also identifying strong organic moments in real time</li><li>
 Work with the creative, marketing, game presentation, and sponsorship teams to execute content needs</li><li>
 Edit video content for social media, recaps, promos, sponsor deliverables, player features, and other team needs</li><li>
 Organize, label, and maintain video files, project files, and media assets</li><li>
 Meet deadlines for quick-turnaround edits, especially during and after game days</li><li>
 Maintain a professional presence while representing the Knoxville Ice Bears at games and events</li><li>
 Follow all team, arena, production, and on-ice safety protocols</li></ul><div><b>
Equipment Requirements</b><br>
</div><div>
Applicants must meet <b>one</b> of the following requirements:<br>
</div><ul><li>
 Provide and operate their own professional camera equipment, such as a <b>Sony A7IV or equivalent</b><br>
<b>or</b></li><li>
 Be able to confidently operate team-provided equipment, including a <b>Sony FX30</b> or similar camera system</li></ul><div>
Candidates should have a working understanding of camera settings and production fundamentals, including:<br>
</div><ul><li>
 Exposure</li><li>
 Frame rate</li><li>
 Shutter speed</li><li>
 White balance</li><li>
 Focus</li><li>
 Audio levels</li><li>
 File formats</li><li>
 Basic camera rig safety</li></ul><div><b>
Editing Requirements</b><br>
</div><div>
Candidates must have editing experience in at least one of the following workflows:<br>

Adobe Premiere Pro</b></li><li><b>
Adobe After Effects</b></li><li><b>
DaVinci Resolve</b></li></ul><div>
Experience with short-form social media edits, hype videos, sponsor content, color correction, audio syncing, and basic motion graphics is preferred.<br>

Qualifications</b><br>
</div><ul><li>
 Experience shooting video for sports, live events, brands, schools, organizations, or personal content channels</li><li>
 Ability to shoot in a fast-paced environment with changing lighting, movement, crowds, and live-event conditions</li><li>
 Strong understanding of composition, camera movement, focus, and visual storytelling</li><li>
 Ability to capture both planned shots and spontaneous moments during games and events</li><li>
 Editing experience using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or DaVinci Resolve</li><li>
 Must be able to ice skate confidently and safely</li><li>
 Must own and provide properly fitted ice skates</li><li>
 Strong attention to detail with file organization, deadlines, and visual consistency</li><li>
 Availability for Knoxville Ice Bears game days is <b>mandatory</b></li><li>
 Must be able to stand, walk, skate, and work on your feet for <b>3+ hours</b> during games and events</li><li>
 Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed</li><li>
 Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to follow direction in a live production environment</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred Skills</b><br>
</div><ul><li>
 Experience filming hockey, sports, concerts, entertainment, or other live events</li><li>
 Familiarity with Sony mirrorless or cinema camera systems</li><li>
 Experience using gimbals, monopods, tripods, wireless audio, lighting, or other production gear</li><li>
 Ability to edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook</li><li>
 Motion graphics or basic animation experience in After Effects</li><li>
 Photography experience is a plus</li><li>
 Understanding of sports storytelling, fan engagement, sponsor content, and promotional campaigns</li><li>
 Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines</li><li>
 Strong sense of pacing, music timing, and visual energy</li><li>
 Comfort working in crowded, high-energy arena environments</li><li>
 Prior experience capturing on-ice, rink-level, or action-sports footage is a plus</li></ul><div><b>

This is a game-day and event-based position that requires availability for Knoxville Ice Bears home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, skating when needed, and capturing content throughout the arena during live events.<br>
