This position will analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and maintain record of AR &amp; AP, Assets, Liabilities, Profit &amp; Loss, or other financial activities within an organization. The occupant in this position is expected to maintain skills and knowledge essential for successful job performance by means of workshops, seminars, off-site training and research.JOB DUTIES: <ul><li>Applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information.</li><li>Preparing financial documents as required.</li><li>Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounting entries, documenting business transactions.</li><li>Analyzing financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and preparing Balance Sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.</li><li>Timely processing of payments and applying transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.</li><li>Reporting suspicious activities, transactions or errors to supervisor on a timely basis.</li><li>Assisting supervisor in implementing internal controls, improving processes, budgeting and preparing for audits.</li><li>Ensuring that proper accounting principles are followed.</li><li>Determining, investigating and resolving billing issues and problems resulting from questions from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.</li><li>Preparing reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements.</li><li>Ensuring accurate recording of AP invoices, AR invoices &amp; GL journal entries in the accounting system.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or related field. 0 to 2 years of financial and accounting experience.</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>Intermediate computer skills to include MS Office, QuickBooks and internet.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills.</li><li>Understanding of governmental and reporting requirements.</li><li>The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.</li><li>Work independently and use good judgment.</li><li>Demonstrate pro-active attitudes, practices and behaviors for organizational goal attainment.</li><li>Ability to coordinate activities effectively and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.</li><li>Complete projects and assignments in agreed upon timeframes.</li><li>Knowledge of company services and programs.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
