<li>Review/revise/develop raw materials specifications.</li>
<li>Develop supplier qualification system.</li>
<li>Develop daily measures for suppliers to include hourly integrated system checks, data-sharing, email photographs, etc.</li>
<li>Develop strategies for sourcing, qualifying and on-boarding potential new suppliers.</li>
<li>Develop monthly key supplier scorecards.</li>
<li>Organize, prioritize and lead team of supplier auditors.</li>
<li>Prepare and report monthly data and highlights with improvement action plans.</li>
<li>Review all Koch Foods plants internal data on processing specs inspection, customer complaints and utilize data for supplier scorecards and continuous improvement plans.</li>
<li>Qualify and disqualify suppliers based on contractual performance.</li>
<li>Assist in the development of possible supplier performance incentives.</li>
<li>All other relevant duties to the job.</li>
</ul></div>Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain or other relevant field of study required.
</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of USDA regulatory guidelines required.</li>
<li>7+ years management skills in distribution operations required.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel.</li></ul></div>

Materials Director

<div><ul><li>Report to Complex Purchasing Manager, assisting with daily operations.
<br>
</li><li>Utilize evaluation system for vendor quotes with appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques, ensuring quality, price, delivery and service.<br>
</li>
<li>Manage and monitor procurement reporting systems.
<br>
</li><li>Recruit and maintain suppliers who provide high quality products and services while maintaining highest code of ethics and conduct.<br>
</li>
<li>Prepare and issue purchase contracts and change notices.<br>
</li>
<li>Review claims and contracts for conformance to Company policy.<br>
</li>
<li>Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price and specifications.<br>
</li>
<li>All other relevant duties as required.</li>
</ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required, with Bachelor degree preferred. Education may be considered in place of relevant work experience.</li>
<li>1+ year(s) buyer experience in poultry or meat category market preferred.<br>
</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>
</li>
<li>Proficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills.<br>
</li>
<li>Detail oriented.</li>
</ul>
