Job Description &ndash; Nurse In-Charge (Round the Clock)Location: Kolhapur Department: Nursing Position: Nurse In-Charge (All Shifts) Experience: Experienced candidates onlyRole SummaryWe are looking for qualified and experienced Nurse In-Charges who will be responsible for managing overall nursing functions round the clock in a Cancer Care Hospital. The role requires excellent clinical knowledge, hands-on nursing skills, and the ability to supervise nursing teams effectively across all wards including ICU (Medical &amp; Surgical).Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Handle nursing operations independently during allotted duty hours</li><li>Supervise Nurses, Staff Nurses, and Ward Assistants in respective shifts</li><li>Ensure execution of nursing protocols and clinical procedures as per hospital standards</li><li>Provide direct patient care whenever required</li><li>Ensure proper medication administration, documentation and patient charts</li><li>Coordinate with Consultants, Intensivists, and Medical Officers</li><li>Maintain highest infection control practices and patient safety standards</li><li>Monitor patient condition and escalate emergencies immediately</li><li>Oversea ICU (Medical &amp; Surgical), Emergency, IPD wards, and special cancer care units</li><li>Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical procedures and policies</li><li>Prepare reports, handovers, and maintain shift documentation</li><li>Attend and manage medical codes and emergency situations</li><li>Maintain discipline, punctuality and teamwork in the unit</li><li>Train and guide junior nursing staff</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Excellent clinical &amp; technical nursing knowledge</li><li>Strong command in ICU nursing (Medical &amp; Surgical)</li><li>Able to handle critical care situations confidently</li><li>Good communication &amp; coordination skills</li><li>Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff</li><li>Knowledge of oncology care will be added advantage</li><li>Strong patient-care focus and empathy</li></ul>Qualification<ul><li>GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing</li><li>Registered Nurse with valid Nursing Council Registration</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Only experienced candidates</li><li>Minimum 4+ years in hospital nursing In charge.</li><li>ICU experience is mandatory</li><li>Cancer hospital experience preferred</li></ul>Work Schedule<ul><li>Round-the-clock rotational duties</li><li>Must be available for night shifts and emergency duty</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Opportunity to work in advanced cancer care settings</li><li>Professional learning and skill development</li><li>Supportive clinical environment</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From &#8377;240,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of Experience do you have as a in charge?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
