As a Partner Consulting Engineer on the growing Partner Team at Kong, you will work directly with our partners, guiding them through the technical aspects of implementing and deploying Kong API Management products. You'll work as a technical advisor, helping partners build practices on our technology and ensuring their long-term success through strategic enablement. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams and external partners, from developers to executives. 
What you'll bring:<ul><li>
8-12 Years of relevant experience in API Management and Integration technologies with 3- 4 years on partner Enablement, Enterprise technology trainings</li><li>
Passion of delivering bootcamps and addressing to a large gathering of technical experts</li><li>
Strong knowledge of API Gateways and API integrations ( Kong, MuleSoft, Apigee, IBM API Connect etc..)</li><li>
Familiarity with Auth Schemes and IdPs like Okta, Auth0, Azure AD, Cognito etc..</li><li>
Basic understanding microservices architectures</li><li>
Proficiency in Linux environments</li><li>
Exposure to Docker &amp; Kubernetes</li><li>
Familiarity with major cloud providers and key services (GCP, AWS, Azure)</li><li>
Knowledge of API integration with leading AI model providers such as OpenAI, Google Vertex, Amazon Bedrock etc..</li><li>
Knowledge of event streaming and messaging providers such as Kafka, Solace and other leading MQ systems</li><li>
Team-oriented approach and strong communication skills</li><li>
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change</li><li>
Preferably cloud intermediate+ level certification from AWS/ Microsoft/ GCP and/or any API Management professional certification from leading providers</li></ul>
What you will be doing:<ul><li>
Drive Kong Products and Practice Enablements bootcamps at scale with partners</li><li>
Assisting partners on their API lifecycle journey with their customers through technical workshops.</li><li>
Lead the creation of enablement contents in form of Videos, Recorded demos and Presentations for partner focused requirements and for new features/ releases</li><li>
Design repeatable frameworks that scale across geographies, practices, and industries.</li><li>
Guiding partners through installation and implementation of Kong solutions</li><li>
Collaborating with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales)</li><li>
Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge base articles</li><li>
Guide partner team members to achieve Kong Certifications</li><li>
Travel to Partner locations up to 50%</li></ul>

As an Analytics Engineer at Kong, you will be responsible for a combination of data engineering and product analytics tasks, contributing to the optimization of our data ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, as well as perform in-depth analysis to derive actionable insights.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Data Engineering:<ul><li>
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design and implement scalable data pipelines.</li><li>
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability for analytics purposes.</li><li>
Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.</li></ul></li><li>
Product Analytics:<ul><li>
Partner with product teams to define and implement tracking mechanisms for key product metrics.</li><li>
Analyze user behavior, product usage, and other relevant data to provide insights that drive product improvements.</li><li>
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.</li></ul></li><li>
Data Quality and Governance:<ul><li>
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.</li><li>
Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and best practices.</li></ul></li><li>
Collaboration:<ul><li>
Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into product development processes.</li></ul></li><li>
Technology Stack:<ul><li>
Utilize tools and technologies within the Kong data ecosystem, including Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, etc.
</li></ul></li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.</li><li>
4-6 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role (data analyst, data scientist or data engineer).</li><li>
Strong proficiency in data engineering, ETL processes, and database management.</li><li>
Experience with product analytics, including defining and tracking relevant metrics.</li><li>
Proficiency in SQL, any scripting language (Python, R) and a data visualization tool like Tableau, or Power BI.</li><li>
Familiarity with DBT docs for data transformation.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Preferred Skills:</h3><ul><li>
Familiarity with Snowflake, and reverse ETL tools is a plus</li><li>
Experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) and/or SaaS business</li></ul>
