<p><b>Position Summary:</b></p>
<p>Performs end user device configuration, installation, support, maintenance and troubleshooting at the desk side or remotely for all employees and clients of Kootenai Health and its affiliates and is responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing solutions for the desktop environment. Develops recommendations for end users and management, strategic planning and implementation. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Has strong organizational skill and is able to meet tight deadlines as well as coordinate, prioritize and communicate project statuses. Manages multiple issues and projects with excellent multitasking skills. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team with little to no supervision. Requires independent judgement and excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Accountable for consistently delivering excellent customer service.</p><br>

<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Works incident and service requests to completion for all employees and clients of Kootenai Health in person at the desk side, using a remote tool or over the phone</li>

Works collaboratively with data and reporting and the database administrator to help produce effective production management and utilization management reports in support of performance management related to quality, safety, utilization, cost, and risk from a variety of data sources.</p><br>

<p><b>Position Summary</b> The Analyst is responsible for planning and executing all facets of the life cycle for the Epic and third-party applications supporting Kootenai Health, our affiliates, and downstream customers. This role focuses on <b>Patient Access workflows</b>, with an emphasis on <b>facility structure, bed management, EVS and transfer</b> processes supported by Epic Grand Central. The Analyst assists in the analysis, design, implementation, optimization, and support of Epic modules and third-party applications. They will understand the technical capabilities of the systems they support, including data elements, interfaces, and workflow functionality. The Analyst will participate in new module implementations and upgrades, and serve as a liaison between departmental staff, Information Systems teams, and application vendors.</p>

<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Performs in-depth analysis of current and future workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with the Epic EHR and designated third-party applications</li>
<li>Collects requirements regarding potential system enhancements or new system implementation and prepares details of specifications needed; prioritizes and implements requested changes to the system</li>
<li>Investigates standardization and process improvement opportunities while making build decisions</li>
<li>Validates data is accurate and meets business requirements</li>
<li>Designs and executes small-scale application testing as required</li>
<li>Provides support for the installation and implementation of system patches, service utilities and version upgrades as assigned</li>
<li>Participates in integrated area domain and affinity groups in support of operational governance</li>
