The Sales Consultant position is responsible for generating sales and building relationships with clients, including facility managers, interior designers, architects, contractors and others who may influence the ultimate sale. The successful candidate must develop product presentation skills that will allow confident, competent, thorough client interaction and problem solution with all product groups. They must develop product brand awareness of the Koroseal products in the marketplace. They need to maintain and build client profiles and account records utilizing company’s CRM system.
 
This role will be located in Nashville reporting to our Regional Sales Manager. There will be occasional travel to our other company locations to support customer plant visits, headquarters sales calls, and tradeshows, or as required.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.</li>
<li>Conduct product demonstrations or presentations, highlighting features and benefits that meet client requirements.</li>
<li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the company CRM system.</li>
<li>Consistently follow up with leads, providing timely responses to inquiries and concerns.</li>
<li>Engage in consultative selling by asking questions and actively listening to understand customer needs.</li>
<li>Develop customized proposals and quotes that align with client needs and company offerings.</li>
<li>Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on how your products/services can add value to their business.</li>
<li>Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market changes to identify new business opportunities.</li>
<li>Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products/services, including key features, benefits, and competitive positioning.</li>
<li>Work closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management.</li>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive business growth.</li>
<li>Attend industry events, trade shows, or conferences to network and promote the company’s products/services.</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Skills & Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business, Marketing, or Sales</li>
<li>1-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in interior decorative or protective products</li>
<li>Strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets</li>
<li>Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tool</li>
<li>Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills to understand client needs and offer solutions</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a client-first approach and build lasting relationships</li>
<li>A driven individual with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Strong ability to negotiate terms, close deals, and handle objections</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration</li>
<li>Must be able to walk and sit for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs safely</li>
