Job Description 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Internal Communications Intern to support day-to-day internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. This role will assist with managing our internal communications platform and creating and publishing content that supports employees across the organization.
This internship offers hands-on experience in internal communications, content development, and employee engagement within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 
Qualifications 
Primary Responsibilities &ndash; Includes, but are not limited to, the following:
Internal Communications Platform Management:<ul><li>
Support ongoing maintenance of the internal communications platform (e.g., posting updates, organizing pages, basic troubleshooting, and keeping content current)</li><li>
Monitor platform usage and ensure information is accurate, consistent, and easy to find</li><li>
Coordinate with relevant teams to collect updates and ensure timely publishing</li></ul>
Content Creation and Publishing:<ul><li>
Write, edit, and publish internal articles, announcements, and updates</li><li>
Help develop content that supports company priorities, culture, and employee engagement</li><li>
Maintain an editorial calendar and assist with content planning</li></ul>
General Communications Support:<ul><li>
Help gather information, employee stories, and photos for internal use</li><li>
Support basic reporting (e.g., page views, engagement metrics) and provide insights for improvement</li><li>
Collaborate with other stakeholders as needed</li></ul>
Education, Experience &amp; Other Requirements
<ul><li>Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>
Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and tone</li><li>
Bilingual, with Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred</li><li>
Comfortable learning new tools and working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines</li><li>
Interest in employee engagement, company culture, and internal storytelling</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience with intranet platforms or internal communication tools</li><li>
Basic design skills (e.g., Canva) and ability to format posts/pages</li><li>
Familiarity with content calendars, analytics, or survey tools</li></ul>
