Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Structural Engineering &amp; Analysis</li>
<li><ul><li>Perform engineering analysis and design of bespoke aluminum framing systems, including ACM, sheet metal, perforated plates, sunshades and varied material inserts and fasteners.</li>
<li>Develop load paths and perform calculations in compliance with building codes and client specifications.</li>
<li>Conduct finite element modeling (FEM), MathCAD, and Excel-based analysis for fa&ccedil;ade systems.</li>
</ul></li><li>Curtainwall &amp; Fa&ccedil;ade Design</li>
<li><ul><li>Evaluate unitized and stick-built curtainwall systems and design structural loading additions, including extensive connection detailing.</li>
<li>Prepare and assemble engineering calculation packets for submittals.</li>
<li>Evaluate subcontracted engineering work and provide technical direction.</li>
</ul></li><li>Coordination &amp; Documentation</li>
<li><ul><li>Collaborate with project managers, drafting teams, and fabricators to achieve quality, efficiency, and constructability standards.</li>
<li>Compile and present engineering documentation, including structural reports, drawings, and calculations.</li>
<li>Conduct site observations and collect field data to support design validation.</li>
</ul></li><li>Business &amp; Client Support</li>
<li><ul><li>Review technical specifications for negotiation and project initiation.</li>
<li>Support preliminary engineering designs for sales and estimating teams.</li>
<li>Serve as a technical liaison with clients to communicate engineering intent.</li></ul></li></ul> 

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in structural engineering across commercial, specialty, and fa&ccedil;ade projects .</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of building codes, materials (wood, concrete, steel, masonry, aluminum), and fenestration industry standards.</li>
<li>Proficiency with structural software (FEM tools, MathCAD, Excel).</li></ul>
