The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge with strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing &amp; Procurement Leadership<ul><li>Define, develop, and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals.</li><li>Lead category management for key materials including electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components.</li><li>Establish long-term sourcing strategies for critical components and global vendor development.</li></ul>Supplier Management &amp; Development<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and onboard world-class suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.</li><li>Foster strategic partnerships with key suppliers to enable innovation and risk mitigation.</li><li>Drive global sourcing initiatives and alternate vendor strategies.</li></ul>Cost Optimization &amp; Commercial Excellence<ul><li>Lead high-value negotiations to achieve cost savings, value creation, and supply assurance. Implement total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost modeling for informed decision-making.</li><li>Continuously benchmark prices and practices against global standards.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Supply Chain Coordination<ul><li>Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Finance to maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure timely procurement.</li><li>Support S&amp;OP initiatives and improve procurement responsiveness to demand fluctuations.</li></ul>Digitalization &amp; Process Excellence<ul><li>Drive digital procurement transformation through ERP and procurement tools (SAP/Oracle).</li><li>Improve procurement analytics, dashboards, and real-time reporting for strategic decision-making.</li><li>Lead process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma).</li></ul>Governance, Risk &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, commercial, and ethical procurement practices.</li><li>Oversee contract management, documentation, audits, and risk mitigation frameworks.</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Talent Development<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing procurement team.</li><li>Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the function.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills1. Educational Background:o Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical or mechanical engineeringo MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials Management (preferred).2. Experience:o 14&ndash;18 years of progressive experience in procurement/supply chain management.o Minimum 5&ndash;7 years in a leadership role overseeing strategic sourcing inmanufacturing.o Strong exposure to electrical/electronic/electromechanical components &amp; plastic rawmaterials is a must.3.
