Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Kansas City office. This position provides administrative support to multiple attorneys in the Kansas City office/other Kansas City Regional offices, working alongside other staff members within the corporate legal department. This role is ideal for the detail-oriented individual that enjoys working with a team in a collegial and collaborative environment.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul><li>
General office duties, such as preparing scans, copies, printing e-mails and documents</li><li>
Prepare and/or edit legal transactional documents, correspondence, and/or contracts in draft and final form to incorporate handwritten or typed revisions</li><li>
Proofread documents for changes to be made before the final copy is produced</li><li>
Perform document comparisons using firm software (Litera)</li><li>
Assist in managing closing documents and preparing closing binders including electronic closing binders and distribution via various delivery methods</li><li>
Organize and maintain extensive sets of files, both electronic and paper</li><li>
Maintain emails and documents within the Firm&rsquo;s Document Management System (NetDocs) and properly profile each document according to Department standards</li><li>
Proactively accept responsibility and take directions for work assignments and tasks</li><li>
Handle client matters (when appropriate) through telephone and email</li><li>
Enter time and expenses for submission to Accounting Department through firm software (Intapp)</li><li>
Maintain work calendars by scheduling appointments, conference calls, meetings, and professional organization events</li><li>
Coordinate with in-house conference center for meetings as needed</li><li>
Work as a team player and cover for others within the work area</li><li>
Assist with other tasks as assigned or necessary within the Department</li></ul><div>

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities</b></div><ul><li>
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word (including the use of Styles, Schemes, Table of Contents and Mail Merges), Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li>
Capable of editing and assembly of PDF documents</li><li>
Keen attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under the pressures of deadlines</li><li>

Salary Range:</b> $45,000-$70,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.</div><div><b>
Work Arrangement: </b>In Office , 37.5 hours per week, 8:30 am &ndash; 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, with some flexibility specific to the Department and related work loads.<br>

Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced paralegal to join its Public Finance practice. This position works with lawyers and staff in public finance and commercial lending practices with primary responsibilities that include obtaining and organizing transaction documents, due diligence documentation, assisting with closing transactions, and organizing and monitoring any post-closing tasks. This role is ideal for the detail-oriented paralegal with experience in real estate or corporate transactional practices and enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment.</div><div><br>

This full-time hybrid position may sit in one of the following office locations: Atlanta, GA; Richmond, VA; or Washington, D.C.</div><div><br>

RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul><li>
Prepare first drafts of basic documents, including transaction documents and official statements, attend drafting sessions, revise primary documents</li><li>
Perform due diligence to verify information and data contained in the official statement</li><li>
Coordinate the distribution of documents to participants</li><li>
Organize and analyze documents</li><li>
Prepare and file UCC statements</li><li>
Handle routine correspondence, maintain telephone contact with the clients and consult the supervising attorney for legal advice when necessary</li><li>
Review financial proformas and models and incorporate such information into transaction documents</li><li>
Coordinate and attend closings, which include, but are not limited to, prepare signature pages for execution, obtain executed signature pages and any other documents required for closing, compile and distribute closing documents, prepare letters and forms post-closing as required and prepare closing transcripts</li><li>
Organize and maintain electronic and paper filings with state and federal agencies</li><li>
Meet regularly with supervising attorneys</li><li>
