About the role 
The Operations Analyst, Payment Resolution &amp; Research is responsible for processing premium collection and providing accurate information to service our clients and policyholders. The position will be a communicator, problem solver, and agent for change to provide continuous improvements. 
What you'll do<ul><li>
Process premium received based on type of products, accurate data entry ability.</li><li>
Process policy loans and run cost basis requests</li><li>
Daily processing of bank activity including lockbox rejects</li><li>
Make corrections to policies due to coding errors, account/bank information errors.</li><li>
Ability conduct research and meet deadlines.</li><li>
Assist with unclaimed property research and Claims requests</li><li>
Accounting balancing skills and General ledger knowledge.</li><li>
Assist with the 1099 process for policyholders</li><li>
Handle inbound/outbound calls from all applicable customers including but not limited to third party contacts, clients contacts, third party vendors and internal team resources.</li><li>
Develop broad understanding of products, services, policies, procedures, regulations, and laws for effective service delivery.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Experience<ul><li>
Two-year degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience preferred.</li><li>
LOMA 1 &amp; 2 courses completed/passed within two years of hire.</li><li>
One to three years of customer service or insurance background desired.</li><li>
Intermediate Excel knowledge.</li></ul> 
Skills/Competencies<ul><li>
Strong organizational skills with elevated level of attention to detail</li><li>
Demonstrated persistency and ability to deliver results under pressure</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and proofreading skills</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office, etc.</li><li>
Must be a flexible self-starter who can prioritize tasks, follow through and meet deadlines</li><li>
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li></ul> 
Physical Demands<ul><li>
Normal office working environment, full time with some flexibility</li><li>
Occasional evening and weekend hours to meet deadlines</li><li>

About the role
The Intermediate Accountant will be a key contributor in the month-end close, reconciliations, and the preparation of Kuvare Corporate Management&rsquo;s internal GAAP financial statements, as well as various ad hoc reporting for the management team. Kuvare Corporate Management (KCM) is Kuvare&rsquo;s managed services company which houses the U.S. operations personnel and vendor relationships.
What you'll do<ul><li> Utilize analytics and detail to prepare and record KCM monthly journal entries for payroll, credit card, and accounts payable activity, and allocations to all of the Kuvare operating entities.</li><li> Work closely with other departments of the organization to consolidate financial results and meet necessary deadlines.</li><li> Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly Kuvare Corporate Management GAAP financial statements.</li><li> Conduct the daily reconciliation of cash management and advise treasury of missing records.</li><li> Create and resolve reconciliations monthly for balance sheet activity.</li><li> Reconcile benefits paid and work with Human Resources to resolve discrepancies.</li><li> Manage end to end process of gathering, reviewing, and submitting audit requests as needed.</li></ul>

Qualifications
Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience</li><li> Working knowledge of accounting area preferred (for example, income statement, balance sheet, payroll accounting, expenses and accrual accounting)</li></ul>
