Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intake Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, managing initial case intake and supporting attorneys across a wide range of legal practice areas. Your energetic approach and organizational prowess will ensure smooth case processing, accurate data entry, and comprehensive document management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal administrative skills while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough client interviews to gather essential case information for a personal injury law firm</li><li>Manage and organize incoming legal documents using document management systems like Neos and Outlook</li><li>Review, draft, and proofread legal contracts</li><li>Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely data entry into case management software</li><li>Coordinate with attorneys and staff to schedule appointments, follow up on client inquiries, and facilitate communication</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within a law office setting is highly preferred</li><li>Bilingual, Spanish speaker a plus</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; keen proofreading abilities</li><li>Experience with document review, legal drafting, contracts preparation, and document management systems such as Neos or similar platforms</li><li>Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment</li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail in high-pressure situations</li></ul>Join us in this engaging role where your dedication will help streamline our legal processes while supporting meaningful client outcomes.
