 L3Harris Communications &amp; Spectrum Dominiance (CSD) is seeking a Scientist, C4ISR Systems Solutions Architect for our Abu Dhabi, UAE location. This is a senior role requiring the overall design of C4ISR systems, including the overall network and associated data links, Battle management System (BMS), and the processing, fusion, and dissemination of data from multiple ISR platforms. A key part of this role focuses on the modernization and development of new C4ISR systems to support joint operations. This includes designing the overall network-centric communications architecture, recommending data models for managing ISR data, the associated standards, the data formats to utilize in these new systems, evaluation of the needed analysis tools, and designing interoperable systems that utilize open standards for data exchange. Close coordination with the end users and other engineering disciplines is required to shape and define the requirements, along with the development of proposals and working with third-party vendors/contractors as needed.

 This role is scoped for 3 years.
 
 
 Key responsibilities include:

 C4ISR Architecture: Develop and design C4ISR architectures that leverage existing customer equipment while integrating cutting-edge technologies to meet specific and evolving customer needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Emphasis on Utilizing AI: Integrating artificial intelligence within the C4I space to enhance system capabilities and data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving Strategy for Customer Adoption: Developing and implementing strategies to drive customer adoption of new and modernized C4ISR systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cross-Sector and Cross-Segment Collaboration: Working across various sectors and segments to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adjacent Technologies Knowledge: Possessing knowledge of adjacent technologies like electronic warfare to enhance the overall system effectiveness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Customer Relationship Ownership: Owning and managing the technical relationship with customers to ensure their requirements are met and exceeded.

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Engineering (or related science discipline). Non-engineering or non-science majors will not be considered for this role
 </li>
 <li>
 12 years of related experience (or 10+ years with a Master&rsquo;s degree)
 </li>
 <li>
 8+ years of experience in C4ISR systems design, including large-scale enterprise integrated battle management systems and tactical radio networks. Please note this role is not for operators of certain tools, radio operators, or ISR analysts. This is a solution architect position and requires the candidate to be able to design complete solutions based on customers&rsquo; needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Additional Skills:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong understanding and experience with the L3Harris Falcon Radio product line, including applications for network-centric communications for command and control systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of military vehicle networks, including expertise in integrating various communication protocols (such as CAN, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, etc.) and a wide array of sensors (such as RADAR, LIDAR, EO/IR, SIGINT, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of the challenges associated with interoperability, data fusion, and real-time processing within dynamic and constrained environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with modern network-enabled warfighting concepts, such as JADC2. Candidate must have an extensive working and conceptual knowledge of modern military operations, and capabilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with one or more of the following L3Harris pursuits/programs: ELTS, Bahrain C4I, Morocco C4I, KSA C4I
 </li>
 <li>
 Design of scalable C4ISR systems that supports federation, redundancy, and interoperability at all levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of Joint Operations and the required tools to support the analysis of data and generation of products/reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and drive the application of AI and ML techniques to C4ISR systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile methodologies) and the integration/interfacing with legacy systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture standards such as TOGAF or DODAF
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical presentation and proposal writing skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver architecture solutions and proposals
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and execute customer engagement strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to build trust with external customers, and internal stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive ideas for internal R&amp;D projects to support future C4I differentiators
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with L3Harris R&amp;D processes
 </li>
