 We are seeking a detail-oriented
 
 Administrative Assistant
 
 to support our Program Management division. This position will require you to work full-time from our client's office in Rochester, NY.
 
 
 The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
 
 
 The Administrative Assistant will provide support for space and facilities-related activities, helping maintain records, process work orders, and manage drawings and documentation. This role works closely with internal teams and client representatives to ensure accurate information, smooth coordination, and timely support. The ideal candidate is an organized administrative professional who is comfortable working with standard office software and is eager to be trained on facilities-related systems and AutoCAD file management.
 
 
 
 
 Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000
 
 
 
 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the client's work order system, including entering requests, tracking status, and coordinating with site contacts
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and organize AutoCAD drawings and facilities files
 </li>
 <li>
 Update and maintain occupancy and space-related data in internal databases
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with basic data tracking, metrics, and documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Support facilities requests, including processing quotes and purchase order documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate administrative tasks related to office moves, space changes, and facilities requests
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide general administrative support as needed

 Requirements

 Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
 </li>

 Strong administrative and office support experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities

 Clear written and verbal communication skills

Administrative Assistant - Program Management

 We are currently hiring Construction Managers to support electric utility construction in the Mid-Atlantic region.
 
 
 The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs.
 
 
 Salary Range:&nbsp;$60-$90/hr
 
 
 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, project location and project scope.&nbsp; Related travel, Per Diem and / or relocation expenses will be considered outside of base salary negotiations and will be based on project location.&nbsp; This is an on-site position, with various project locations open.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Responsible for management of the construction of electric substations, substation upgrades, transmission lines and upgrades, generation upgrades and other projects to include civil and structural works, Protection and control installations and communications packages
 </li>
 <li>
 Determine contract resource requirements, service specifications and manage contractor performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage activities related to coordination of field inspection and sign offs for construction projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and evaluate activities of outsourced Construction companies to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedules and budgets, cost effectiveness and control, and results
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, review and evaluate contracts and agreements affecting the project execution and functional area operations and make appropriate recommendations
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with management staff to resolve problems and coordinate activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that construction management is integrated into the planning, scheduling, cost tracking, construction, installation, testing and acceptance activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the management of construction materials logistics and ensure material handling plans are established and managed
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the transmission substations and lines construction schedules with the other functional areas within the Utility
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide constructability feedback on electrical, mechanical, protection and civil construction standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other business organizations, contractors and subject matter experts to resolve disputes and prioritize business requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the transmission facilities construction projects negotiations and joint planning efforts with other utilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Help lead and collaborate the activities to address or remedy substation and lines transmission system emergencies as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify construction risk during the planning, execution and construction phases and prepare risk mitigation plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to Utility policies, programs and procedures as well as Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and other relevant entities
 </li>
 <li>
 Safety: Maintain safety awareness and ensure contractors comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures to assure a safe working environment at the construction site. Properly wear and care for applicable safety gear and equipment. Identify and communicate unsafe conditions to Contractors, Project Manager and assure safety concerns and issues are resolved.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the project and construction resources within the schedule and budget
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise construction activities while ensuring safety and compliance with energized work protocols
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment to execute tasks near or under live electrical components
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to safety standards, including OSHA, NESC, and utility-specific energized work procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct pre-job briefings and hazard assessments before any work begins
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor work progress, resolve field issues, and report daily activities to project leadership
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Certifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety (preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 First Aid/CPR (Preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) or equivalent (preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 NERC CIP awareness (Preferred)
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Technical Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Familiarity with civil construction methods and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with transmission line components (conductors, insulators, towers, grounding)
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with electrical substation components (Materials, equipment, structures, grounding)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and switching orders
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Safety &amp; Compliance Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strict adherence to energized work protocols, including minimum approach distances and PPE requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, switching coordination, and grounding practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lead tailboard meetings, identify job hazards, and implement mitigation strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Emergency response readiness, including incident reporting and evacuation procedures
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education with 2 years relevant experience required.
 </li>
 </ul>
 <ul>
 <li>
 (5) years of progressive related electric utility industry experience, with related construction management experience preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Five (5) years' experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project or Equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have a valid Driver's License
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be willing to travel to construction sites on a day to day basis, attend meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in the required functional area: Substations, Lines, Civil / Structural, Protection and Control
