Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.</li>
<li>Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.</li>
<li>Suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase.</li>
<li>Research availability of models and optional equipment.</li>
<li>Consults with Sales Manager when necessary; never allowing a customer to leave without first consulting with a sales Manager.</li>
<li>Works with the Sales Manager to compute and quote sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit.</li>
<li>Prepares all related paperwork and applications (e.g., sales slip, credit application, etc.).</li>
<li>Delivers new vehicle to customer. This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty.</li>
<li>Maintains a prospect development system.</li>
<li>Remains knowledgeable of new products, features, accessories, etc.</li>
<li>Attends sales meetings and training sessions (at various locations) as scheduled.</li>
<li>Adheres to Company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Meets, or exceeds, written forecast and projected sales numbers.</li>

 Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair as authorized.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the needed parts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tag and save parts, turn in parts, if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise the service advisor immediately if any additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the promised time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document work performed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Road-test vehicles to ensure repair has addressed the customer complaint.
 </li>
 <li>
 Quality check work performed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend training classes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.

 Ensure that customers&rsquo; vehicles are kept clean.

 Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized.

 Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion.
 </li>

 Keep your technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs.

 Take care that the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed than when the customer dropped it off.

 Operates a passenger van safely and efficiently.

 Responds to requests from dispatch or management for scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.

 Assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
 </li>

 Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air-conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc. prior to moving vehicle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for ensuring inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accurately completes driver sheet for each shift with information including number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, mileages, destinations, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Treats all guests, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Move vehicles throughout the dealership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Move vehicles between dealerships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pick up customer vehicles and transport the vehicle back to the dealership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize vehicle inventory around the dealership.
 </li>
