<div>Heavy Civil , Construction, &amp; Excavation Project Manager 


LaRiviere, Inc. is looking for a motivated construction project manager to oversee projects for our construction and excavation division in the Lewiston, Idaho area. Experience with heavy civil work (roads, bridges, water &amp; sewer installations) is required. 
Key responsibilities &amp; Accountabilities: 
Responsible for successfully managing all aspects of heavy civil construction jobs. This includes roads, bridges, site work and utilities. This position involves a combination of office work and site visits to construction and excavation projects. 
Duties and Tasks:<ul><li> 
Review project scopes with estimator for completeness prior to contract execution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage all phases of subcontracts from initial receiving through contract execution including but not limited to:</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review subcontracts from general contractors/owners to verify proposals match contract scope of work and dollar</li></ul>

 amount.
<ul><li>Make corrections as necessary and communicate with GC/Owner of any changes that are deemed necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Track subcontract progress through time lines, documentation, and final execution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review project buyouts to ensure materials and/or subcontractors are accurate and correct as required by the</li></ul>

 project.
<ul><li>Create purchasing orders/subcontracts as necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate with purchasing to ensure prompt procurement. Communicate changes as necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Initial setup of project into the companies software program including the project budget.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create cost loaded project schedules based off of the contract start and end dates and turn into Operational</li></ul>

 Director for review and approval.
<ul><li>Maintain schedule by updating progress and delays to ensure master schedule remains up to date.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Schedule and conduct preconstruction meetings with project team prior to work beginning on site.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Attend onsite weekly meetings with superintendent as necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Conduct jobsite walks with superintendent for quality control, monitor project progress, work within scope and</li></ul>

 ensure all change orders are completed as necessary.
<ul><li>Price and submit change orders to GC/Owner and enter budgets &amp; costs into system software program.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review and approve material and subcontractor invoices within the system software program.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review project labor reports with superintendent to ensure project remains on track and within budget</li></ul>
<ul><li>Work with corporate accounting manager to create monthly billings for each project within the system software</li></ul>

 program.
<ul><li>Assist estimating department with bidding and project takeoffs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrate role model behavior on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company safety culture.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain open communications with all departments and personnel in regard to safety, job efficiency, product</li></ul>

 quality, and customer service.
<ul><li>Comply with all company policies and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Help identify new projects and help company meet its goals.</li></ul> 
Work Environment: 
<ul>
<li>
Must be able to read blueprints.</li>
<li>Write technical and professional reports and correspondence using proper spelling, grammar and style.</li>
<li>Communicates information and responds to questions individually and in small group settings. 
</li>
<li>May involve lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods of time.</li>
<li>Must have visual acuity to see and read paper and electronic documents.</li>
<li>Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and ability to maneuver on uneven terrain.</li>
<li>Sits for long periods of time, ability to do site walks, stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb carry and lift for carrying periods.</li>
<li>Requires continuous and repetitive arm-hand-eye movement</li></ul>
