We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Jewelry Designer to support our design team and contribute to the development of seasonal collections and new product lines.Role SummaryAs an Assistant Jewelry Designer, you will play a key role in the design process &mdash; from concept development through sample production. This position is ideal for someone with a strong eye for fashion trends, excellent design execution skills, and a passion for creating commercially successful jewelry.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the design team in developing seasonal collections</li><li>Create detailed sketches, CADs, mood boards, and presentation materials</li><li>Conduct market and trend research to inform new designs</li><li>Assist with sourcing materials and organizing samples</li><li>Prepare technical drawings and product specification sheets</li><li>Communicate with vendors and production teams regarding samples and revisions</li><li>Maintain digital and physical design archives</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or a related field</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of design experience in fashion jewelry or accessories (internships considered)</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, or similar)</li><li>Strong sketching and rendering skills (hand or digital)</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong interest in fashion, styling, and current accessory trends</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with overseas suppliers or manufacturers</li><li>Familiarity with jewelry production processes and materials</li><li>Knowledge of trend forecasting platforms (e.g., WGSN)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A collaborative, creative studio environment</li><li>Opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility as the brand scales</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Employee product discounts</li><li>Career development opportunities</li></ul>To ApplyPlease submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and a portfolio of your work (PDF or link).Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekExperience:<ul><li>jewelry design: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Los Angeles, CA 90079 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
