Job Summary:The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role plays a critical part in supporting financial planning, inventory valuation, and cost analysis for the furniture and interior design business.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li>Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.</li><li>Track and reconcile inventory costs related to furniture production and procurement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).</li><li>Work closely with project managers and procurement to track project costs and profitability.</li><li>Assist with internal and external audits.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.</li><li>Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 5&ndash;8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, design, or interior industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).</li><li>High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
