  The Product Owner will play a crucial role in driving the development of the core features and user journeys for our groundbreaking AI-powered mobile application. Reporting to the Product Lead, you will be responsible for translating the project's vision and business requirements into actionable, structured backlogs for our development squads. You will own the end-to-end user journey, from initial concept to delivery, ensuring that the final product aligns with our strategic goals and delivers a seamless, intuitive, and engaging experience for our users. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design, agile methodologies, and the technical intricacies of AI and mobile application development.

    Backlog Management &amp; Feature Prioritization:
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with the Product Lead and stakeholders to define and deconstruct complex business needs into clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for multiple development squads, ensuring alignment with the project roadmap and MVP launch features.
  </li>
  <li>
   Champion the development of core functionalities, including a frictionless digital onboarding process, flexible subscription models, intelligent usage management, and a secure digital wallet.
  </li>
  <li>

    User Journey &amp; Experience Validation:
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Take full ownership of defining, validating, and optimizing user journeys, including pre-defined, user-triggered journeys for account management and data visualization.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure all user journeys are intuitive and that AI-powered recommendations are personalized and effective.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate closely with our Product Designers to build out a scalable Figma Design System and a UI Storybook to ensure pixel-perfect builds and development efficiency.

    AI Integration &amp; Dynamic UI:
   </strong>

  <li>
   Translate business process flows and user needs into functional requirements for the application's AI systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with technical teams on the implementation of AI-driven, adaptive user interfaces that respond to user interactions and requests in real-time.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support the development of a flexible AI integration architecture designed to be scalable and accommodate various large language models and providers.

   Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on business processes for the development teams and client SMEs.

   Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely delivery.

   Qualifications:

   Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile development environment (min. 5-7 years), preferably working on mobile applications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of AI concepts and experience working on projects with significant AI/ML components.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and user needs into well-defined user stories and technical requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with UI/UX design principles and collaborating with design teams on tools like Figma.
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with the technical aspects of mobile app development (experience with Flutter or native development is a plus).
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical1 stakeholders.
  </li>
  <li>
   Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and enhancing the user experience.

   Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.

Lab49 is hiring a Principal Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end solution architecture for an AI-first consumer platform in one of the world&rsquo;s most dynamic business hubs. This is a hands-on, design authority role spanning mobile, web, backend, data, and AI &ndash; owning the platform&rsquo;s architecture across squads and ensuring secure, scalable, and coherent delivery. You will define integration to the core platform, establish API and event contracts, and orchestrate SOP/workflow logic so AI-driven experiences execute reliably across both Lab49 and core platform-managed services.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Principal Technical Architect will act as the platform&rsquo;s design authority, setting architectural guardrails, interface contracts, and integration strategy across domains (front end, mobile, backend, data, AI, DevSecOps). You will collaborate with product, engineering, data science, security, and client stakeholders to translate business goals into a resilient, cloud-native, event-driven architecture. A key focus is the Trusted AI Foundation (model/runtime governance, vector/knowledge layers, feedback loops) and core platform integration (API, data, and event flows) to power real-time, personalised experiences at scale.</div><div>
The ideal candidate brings deep experience shipping complex, distributed consumer platforms (mobile + web), integrating with large transactional systems in a high-stakes environment.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Solution Design and Architecture</b></div><div>
Own the end-to-end architecture; define the target architecture (DDD), NFRs (security, performance, resilience), and platform guardrails.</div><div>
Create detailed design specifications, reference implementations, and architectural decision records (ADRs).</div><div>
Design for modularity and evolvability (microservices/micro frontends, event-driven patterns, clear service and domain boundaries).</div><div>
Ensure the architecture supports offline-first mobile, low-latency personalisation, and graceful degradation when AI or upstreams are unavailable.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Agentic Orchestration (Application Layer)</b></div><div>
Define the agentic execution layer: task/goal decomposition, tool use, SOP orchestration, retries/compensation, and human-in-the-loop where required.</div><div>
Implement application-side guardrails (PII redaction at the edge, prompt-injection defences, output moderation hooks) and align them to policies exposed by the AI Foundation.</div><div>
Establish evaluation gates, canarying and rollback for agent changes; drive telemetry for quality, safety and cost.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Core Integration &amp; Orchestration (Design Authority)</b></div><div>
Lead integration design with the core processing platform:</div><div>
Define API contracts and async event schemas with versioning and backward compatibility.</div><div>
Manage data and event flows</div><div>

Proven record designing and delivering complex, distributed, cloud-native platforms at scale.</div><div>
