A Purchasing and Inventory Management Executive is responsible for overseeing and optimizing company's procurement and stock control processes. A right candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the company has the right amounts of materials and products on hand to meet operational and customer demand, while also minimizing costs.Responsibilities<ul><li>Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.</li><li>Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the most favorable agreements.</li><li>Inventory control and optimization: Monitor inventory levels, track movement, and implement strategies to prevent stock shortages or surpluses.</li><li>Procurement strategy: Develop and execute effective purchasing strategies that align with the company's financial goals.</li><li>Order processing: Manage the entire purchase order lifecycle, from creation and tracking to ensuring timely delivery and accurate invoicing.</li><li>Record keeping and reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, pricing, inventory data, and supplier information. Prepare reports for management on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and cost analyses.</li><li>Cost management: Analyze market trends, spending patterns, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Auditing: Conduct regular inventory audits and inspections to ensure accuracy, and identify and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to accurately forecast needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.</li><li>Problem-solving: Address and resolve issues that may arise with suppliers, including delays, quality concerns, and incorrect shipments.</li></ul>Requirements and qualifications<ul><li>Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is typically required.</li><li>Experience: Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or inventory management role.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proficiency with relevant software, such as ERP systems, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.</li><li>Personal attributes: The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Kuri, Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Inventory Management: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
