Sales and Catering Manager &mdash; Job DescriptionJob PurposeA Sales and Catering Manager is responsible for generating revenue through sales of catering services and event spaces while ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth execution of events. They drive business growth by developing client relationships, negotiating contracts, coordinating event logistics, and working closely with internal departments (e.g., food &amp; beverage, culinary, operations).Key ResponsibilitiesSales &amp; Business Development<ul><li>Identify, target, and secure new clients for catering and event services (corporate, social, weddings, etc.).</li><li>Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans to meet revenue targets.</li><li>Respond promptly to inquiries, prepare proposals, and follow up with prospects.</li><li>Participate in networking events, site visits, and community outreach to promote services.</li><li>Maintain a database of leads and manage key accounts.</li></ul>Contracting &amp; Negotiation<ul><li>Negotiate terms and pricing with clients and close contracts to secure business.</li><li>Prepare detailed proposals, banquet event orders (BEOs), and ensure accuracy of contracts.</li><li>Ensure all sales documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.</li></ul>Event Coordination &amp; Execution<ul><li>Coordinate with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure successful event delivery.</li><li>Assist with menu planning and customization based on client needs and budget.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and review set-ups, equipment, staffing, and logistics.</li><li>Monitor events to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.</li></ul>Financial Management<ul><li>Prepare revenue forecasts and manage catering sales budgets.</li><li>Maximize revenue through upselling and creative package offerings.</li><li>Track and report on sales performance and market trends.</li></ul>Client Service &amp; Relationship Management<ul><li>Provide high-quality customer service before, during, and after events.</li><li>Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills✔ Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field preferred.</li></ul>✔ Experience<ul><li>Several years of sales experience, ideally in hospitality, catering, or events.</li><li>Experience dealing with high-volume catering and event clients is a plus.</li></ul>✔ Skills<ul><li>Strong sales and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and sales/event software.</li><li>Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month

Sales & Catering Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Operations &amp; Support<ul><li>Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, back-office software, and restaurant applications.</li><li>Provide day-to-day IT support to restaurant outlets and head office staff.</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors for POS systems, CCTV, internet, and software support.</li></ul>Network &amp; Infrastructure<ul><li>Maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across all outlets.</li><li>Monitor system performance, backups, and server health (on-premise or cloud).</li><li>Ensure proper cabling, network security, and equipment functionality.</li></ul>Data Security &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement and enforce IT security policies, including user access control and data protection.</li><li>Ensure regular data backups and recovery procedures.</li><li>Protect company systems against malware, unauthorized access, and data breaches.</li></ul>System Administration<ul><li>Manage user accounts, access rights, and passwords for POS, ERP, and other systems.</li><li>Maintain software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.</li><li>Document IT procedures, configurations, and incident reports.</li></ul>New Outlet Setup &amp; Projects<ul><li>Support IT setup for new restaurant openings, renovations, and relocations.</li><li>Assist in system upgrades, technology rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>Train staff on POS systems and basic IT procedures.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of IT support experience, preferably in restaurant chains, retail, or hospitality.</li><li>Hands-on experience with POS systems (e.g., Oracle MICROS, Toast, NCR, or similar).</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems, Windows OS, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.</li><li>Familiarity with CCTV systems, printers, scanners, and restaurant peripherals.</li><li>Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and data backup practices.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent operational issues.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel between outlets and provide on-call support when required.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>May require shift flexibility, weekend, or after-hours support.</li><li>Travel between multiple restaurant locations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
