Overview Lahoud Law Group, P.C. is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Paralegal to join our growing immigration legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal administrative skills. This role involves assisting attorneys in managing cases, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.We are a innovative firm that gives all team members all the tools, knowledge, and training to succeed and grow.Responsibilities<ul><li>Handle the preparation and filing of any immigration benefits applications as delegated.</li><li>Removal Defense: Support all functions of removal proceedings litigation including the preparation of applications for relief from removal such as Cancellation of Removal, Asylum and Withholding of removal applications. Procure documents in support of applications, the preparations of affidavits/declarations and prepare, tab and paginate all immigration court filings.</li><li>Review and organize client documentation and analyze and summarize case data for attorney.</li><li>Assist attorney with determining potential case issues and planning case strategy.</li><li>Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports as required.</li><li>Manage case files using document management systems to ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.</li><li>Communicate regularly via phone and in writing with clients, beneficiaries, and various government agencies.</li><li>Utilize Westlaw for legal research and case law analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of cases.</li><li>Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies that may affect client cases.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field (will consider an associate's degree with a paralegal certification).</li><li>Immigration experience preferred, but will consider other legal experience.</li><li>Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Bilingual is a huge plus (English/Spanish).</li></ul>Salary &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary will be based on experience</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, and Paid Birthday Off</li><li>401(k) with matching</li><li>Life, Disability, AD&amp;D insurance options</li><li>HSA</li><li>Other pre-tax benefits</li><li>Free, Close, Garage parking</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 37.5 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Relocation assistance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Allentown, PA 18101 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Allentown, PA 18101: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
