We are currently looking for a 2nd shift Spot Welder with set-up experience to join our growing Roseville, MN location. If you are experienced in sheet metal fabrication, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Use Spot Welding equipment; apply two shaped copper alloy electrodes to concentrate welding current into a small &quot;spot&quot; and to simultaneously clamp the sheets together. Force a large current through the spot to melt the metal and form the weld.</li><li>
Install proper electrodes on the spot-welding machine.</li><li>
Adjusts control for proper heat, pressure settings, and timing of current.</li><li>
Use the proper amount of heat to match the sheet's material properties, thickness, and type of electrodes.</li><li>
Work from routings, prints, or instructions.</li><li>
Inspect work using a micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.</li><li>
Examines welded components for any defects.</li><li>
Deliver the first piece to inspection for verification of dimensions and weld accuracy.</li><li>
Responsible for producing the highest level of quality, utilizing control plans, customer drawings, and appropriate work instructions.</li><li>
Supervising and identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the supervisors</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; experience in Spot Welding preferred</li><li>
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with the leadership team</li><li>
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission</li><li>
Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems</li><li>
Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces into the machine, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing</li></ul><div>
