Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler</li><li>
Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance</li><li>
Develops templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.</li><li>
Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.</li><li>
Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.</li><li>
Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments</li><li>
welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
7+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred)</li><li>
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team</li><li>
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission</li><li>
Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.</li><li>
Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day</li><li>

We are currently adding a <b>Quality Engineer</b> to our growing quality department. This will be an <b>on-site position</b>, with flexibility to be based at our New Hope, MN location. The Quality Engineer will use their technical skills to create inspection protocol for coordinate-measuring machines, visual inspection devices, and other test and inspection equipment. They fill roles as data gatherers, analysts, and reporters, using custom-written programs to generate inspection and test data for manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customers. We are seeking someone with experience in the medical industry and ISO 13485.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Assist with programming CMMs and visual inspection equipment to effectively inspect a wide variety of parts.</li><li>
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerance frames and translate them into inspection program output to ensure manufactured products meet internal engineering and customer dimensional specifications.</li><li>
Develop test methods and part fixtures to facilitate product inspection.</li><li>
Prepare and maintains Customer Documentation Packages for products including: PPAPs, ISIRs, FAIRs, Quality Plans, Capability Studies, and MSAs.</li><li>
Develop and maintain plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects.</li><li>
Support Engineering and Production in the analysis and interpretation of inspection data.</li><li>
Develop and deploy efficient processes for the data collection, documentation, record keeping, and reporting of inspection/test data and technical data packages.</li><li>
Understand, support, and improve existing metrology technologies and investigate, develop, and implement new technologies.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
3 years of experience in 3D CMM programming preferred (Zeiss Calypso sw. preferred)</li><li>
Strong knowledge of GD&amp;T specifications and reading of technical drawings</li><li>
Experience with Technical Data Packages for parts and products</li><li>
Must be able to work independently and make sound judgments regarding work methods and tools.</li><li>
Good computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Projects, and Excel.</li><li>
3 &ndash; 5 years, a combination of education and experience with on-the-job training.</li><li>
Previous experience with ISO Audit training and certification</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Certificates, Licenses, Preferred Registrations</b></div><ul><li>

Receives all incoming materials and prepares products and other materials for shipment using freight bills.</li><li>
Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.</li><li>
Creates PO for outside services; receives products, partners with vendors, and purchases for hot jobs.</li><li>
Performs manufacturing receipts, and works to repair material errors. Any extreme situations are discussed with the appropriate management.</li><li>

2+ years of industrial truck (Forklift) experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (preferred)</li><li>

Knowledge and skills in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), setting up Over the Road shipments (OTR), Bill of Lading (BOL), or using UPS/FEDEX systems</li><li>
