<div>Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 
Facility: Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation 
Location: Lake City, Florida 
Shift: Full-Time, 8:00 AM &ndash; 4:30 PM 
Salary: $45.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Plan, develop, and execute speech language pathology and audiology services, ensuring alignment with ASHA guidelines and physician orders.</li><li>
Monitor and report key performance indicators to the rehabilitation director, ensuring continuous improvement.</li><li>
Ensure appropriate documentation, billing, and coding for residents receiving services.</li><li>
Adhere to health inspection survey readiness, OSHA requirements, and other relevant regulations.</li><li>
Promote safe work practices and accident prevention measures to protect staff and residents.</li><li>
Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance for the speech language pathology department.</li><li>
Supervise staff and promote a harmonious, compliant working environment.</li><li>
Maintain and sanitize all speech language pathology and audiology equipment per facility guidelines.</li><li>
Participate in safety drills, trainings, and fulfill responsibilities during emergency plan activation.</li><li>
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and staff through tact and professionalism.</li><li>
Complete assigned training and skills competency as a condition of employment.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</li><li>
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).</li><li>
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to speech language pathology and audiology services.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.</li><li>
Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to deal with residents, families, and staff in a tactful and compassionate manner.</li><li>
Must have the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and tact.</li><li>
Ability to maintain a safe working environment and contribute to overall patient care.</li><li>
Compliance with facility policies and infection control procedures.</li></ul>
