Lake Sunapee Region VNA &amp; Hospice is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide excellent customer service and technical support to both our internal end-users and external vendors.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:<ul><li>
Engaging in front-facing customer service for end-users experiencing technical difficulties</li><li>
Resetting passwords and unlocking accounts in Active Directory</li><li>
Troubleshooting Outlook and mobile device email issues</li><li>
Installing and configuring printers and other office equipment (local and network)</li><li>
Assisting end-users with VPN connections and resolving basic networking issues</li><li>
Applying updates and patches to laptops/iPads/mobile devices</li><li>
Managing help desk ticket queues and following up with end-users in a timely manner</li><li>
Serving as Security Officer to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>
Maintaining the telecommunication system, working with vendors to ensure proper functioning and cost-effectiveness</li><li>
Functioning as principle on-call agent for IT related issues with backup provided</li></ul>
Qualifications of the IT Support Specialist:<ul><li>
Associates degree in IT-related field preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in Helpdesk Support position</li><li>
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and database management</li><li>
Healthcare IT (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred</li><li>
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, remote desktop tools, and basic networking</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure</li><li>
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users
</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.</li></ul><ul><li>
Working knowledge of network infrastructure &ndash; network routers, switches, WAPs, protocols</li><li>
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Proof of Flu vaccination</li><li>

Automobile insurance</li><li>
Physical exam within the last year</li><li>
Two-step TB test</li></ul>
