THE OPPORTUNITY:
Marketing matters here at Lakeshirts and visuals are at the heart of how we tell our story. From product photography to scroll-stopping content, we use imagery, design, and emerging tools like AI to show why Life's Better in a T-Shirt.
We're looking for an Image &amp; Content Creation Specialist to help create, refine, and elevate our visual content across channels. A core part of this role is ensuring our product imagery is consistently high quality and on brand, from precise image clipping to accurate color correction that brings our products to life.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in the details and thrives in both execution and creation. Beyond production, we're looking for someone who brings an additional creative capability to the team, whether that's photography, video, design, or AI driven content creation, and can contribute to content, storytelling, and new ideas across channels.
Throughout the year, the role will flex based on business needs. During key seasons the focus will be on high volume image production and image team support, which is the primary focus, and at other times it will shift toward broader content creation and experimentation. We are also actively exploring how AI can enhance our workflows, and this role will help push that forward.
You'll work across marketing channels including social, email, catalogs, and sales tools, helping turn great products into compelling visual stories that support engagement and sales. This role partners with the broader marketing team to create and adapt visual content across channels, supporting both ongoing needs and seasonal initiatives. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Onsite at our headquarters in Detroit Lakes
Pay: $17-$18.50/hr 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS | Create + Execute+ Elevate 
Photography + Image Support<ul><li>
Own the preparation and execution support of photoshoots, including garment prep, product coordination, and prop organization to ensure efficient and high-quality output</li><li>
Execute precise image clipping, retouching, and color correction to maintain accurate, consistent product imagery</li><li>
Support and contribute to product photography and editing with a focus on lighting, color accuracy, and consistency</li><li>
Export, organization, and maintenance of image and video assets following established systems and standards</li><li>
Maintain and update assets within garment and image management systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility</li><li>
Partner closely with the Marketing Image Manager and broader marketing team to ensure smooth workflows from shoot preparation through final asset delivery</li></ul> 
Content Creation<ul><li>
Create and contribute to social-first photo and video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other channels</li><li>
Capture lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, and in-the-moment content during photoshoots, events, and day-to-day production</li><li>
Edit short-form video and visual content optimized for digital and mobile platforms</li><li>
Adapt existing imagery into engaging content across social, email, and other channels</li><li>
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, visual standards, and campaign objectives</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and other teams to execute brand and marketing initiatives</li></ul> 
Workflow Improvement &amp; AI Integration<ul><li>
Explore and apply AI tools to improve content creation workflows, efficiency, and output quality</li><li>
Identify opportunities to streamline image production and content processes through new tools or approaches</li><li>
Contribute ideas that expand the team's creative capabilities and overall content output</li><li>
Adapt focus based on seasonal business needs, shifting between high-volume image production and broader content creation and creative support</li></ul> 
QUALIFICATIONS | Detailed-Oriented Creator + Strong Visual Instincts
<ul><li>Degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related field, or 1&ndash;3 years of experience in a professional visual content, photography, or production-focused role</li><li>
Strong proficiency in image editing, including image clipping and accurate color correction with a high attention to detail</li><li>
Experience or interest in creating content for social platforms, with an understanding of visual trends
</li><li>Creative capability in a variety of media such as photography, video, graphic design, and/or AI-driven content creation</li><li>
Interest in exploring and applying AI tools to improve content creation workflows and output</li><li>
Strong creative eye for color, composition, perspective, and layout</li><li>
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed asset workflows</li><li>
Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal</li><li>
Willingness to assist Marketing Image Manager and the marketing team in a range of capacities</li><li>
Comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting to shifting priorities</li><li>
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Trello, Asana, or similar is a plus</li><li>
Ability to contribute to and thrive within a collaborative, team-oriented culture</li><li>
