Lakeview Loan Servicing is seeking a detail-oriented Escrow &amp; Payoff Analyst to join our team. This role involves facilitating all aspects of reviewing, confirming, and entering escrows, prepaid items, and payoffs in accordance with company and program guidelines, policies, and procedures.</div><div><br>
</div><div>This is a fully remote position that offers a competitive hourly pay of $24.04 to $26.44, plus a monthly bonus. You'll also receive our excellent benefits package, which includes medical coverage starting on day one and a company-matched 401(k).</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Ensure all escrow accounts are funded accurately</li><li>
Calculate the amount of tax to be collected by obtaining property tax information from taxing authorities, current servicers, and tax certificates, and reconcile to determine the amount due</li><li>
Determine due dates for all taxes and insurance by reviewing and reconciling information between the servicing system, tax certificates, and county (or other tax authority) websites</li><li>
Ensure all taxes and insurance due on or before the last day of the month of the first payment date are paid or funded at closing</li><li>
Set up a monthly collection of mortgage insurance (MI) premiums</li><li>
Ensure all payoff figures are correct, including obtaining and reviewing current payoff information</li><li>
Accurately input payoff data into the system and other applications as needed</li><li>
Ensure FHA mortgage insurance premium (MIP) refunds are accurate based on the month of funding</li><li>
Monitor changes to current escrow balances and payoffs, updating the loan origination system (LOS) accordingly</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>At least one year of experience in mortgage processing or closing</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills</li><li>
Strong attention to detail</li><li>
Ability to work overtime as needed</li><li>
Willingness and ability to obtain SAFE licensing (at company expense) may be required</li></ul><div></div><div><i><br>
