At Lam, as a Buyer, you play a pivotal role in our procurement process. You analyze purchase requirements and coordinate purchasing activities across departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. You'll support processing purchase requisitions, change orders, and quotes (RFQs) from suppliers. Engaging in cost analysis and volume planning within our enterprise-wide systems (ERPs), you negotiate for the best value and explore new supply sources for cost-saving. Your expertise ensures Lam's procurement remains efficient and competitive on a global scale.</p><p>

What you&rsquo;ll do</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions and quotations for materials, components, capital equipment and services.</li><li>
Manage purchase orders and changes based on demand.</li><li>
Understand, maintain, and report weekly KPI's.</li><li>
Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.</li><li>
Manage purchase order (PO) releases to meet demand requirements.</li><li>
Build key supplier relationships to review open action items, performance, demand forecast, and cost reductions.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Who we&rsquo;re looking for</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,).</li><li>
Working knowledge or experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other procurement related tools.</li><li>
Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.</li><li>

Preferred qualifications</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Experience in the semiconductor industry or other high-tech industries.</li><li>
Foundational understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data.</li><li>
