The Sr. Specialist, Procurement Risk Management will lead the company&rsquo;s strategy to volatile commodity markets. This role is responsible for developing &amp; executing hedging strategies to stabilize input costs, protect margins &amp; enhance cost predictability. Acting as the primary interface between Procurement, Treasury &amp; Finance, the Sr. Specialist will leverage analytics, financial instruments &amp; market insights for data-driven decision making, aligning strategies with company business objectives.<div></div><div>
Job Description</div><ul><li>
Design &amp; implement hedging strategies using futures, swaps &amp; options where appropriate</li><li>
Actively monitor commodity markets, macroeconomic indicators &amp; relevant geopolitical factors</li><li>
Partner with Treasury to ensure strategies align to business risk management objectives</li><li>
Build &amp; maintain models to forecast commodity price trends, volatility &amp; financial impacts</li><li>
Provide actionable insights to Procurement &amp; Finance for budgeting &amp; cost forecasting</li><li>
Deliver regular reporting on hedge effectiveness, exposure levels &amp; overall risk posture</li><li>
Align Procurement sourcing strategies with hedging positions to optimize supplier negotiations</li><li>
Coordinate with Treasury on counterparty &amp; broker relationships</li><li>
Ensure all risk management activities comply with company policies, audit standards, regulatory frameworks &amp; board of directors&rsquo; authorizations</li><li>
Preserve accurate documentation of hedging strategies, agreements &amp; KPI performance</li><li>
Support internal &amp; external audit reviews of hedge/risk-management programs</li></ul><div></div><div>
Scope:</div><ul><li>
Responsible for managing risk on ~$300m in annual procurement spend</li><li>
Supports hedging with approximately 5 counterparty relationships</li><li>
Coordinate with strategic supply relationships for 15-20 critical suppliers</li><li>
Key contributor to annual budgeting &amp; cost mitigation initiatives</li></ul><div></div><div>
Basic &amp; Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li>
2-5 years procurement or commodity risk management experience</li><li>
Demonstrated success developing &amp; executing hedging strategies using financial derivatives</li><li>
Strong familiarity with commodity exchanges, broker networks &amp; counterparty management</li><li>
Advanced analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling &amp; risk assessment tools</li><li>
Strong cross functional skills with proven ability to influence Finance stakeholders</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage complex timelines &amp; deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments</li><li>
Familiarity with platforms such as Bloomberg, or LSEG Refinitiv</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field required</li></ul><div></div><div>
Physical Environment/Demands:</div><ul><li>
~10&ndash;15% travel required to supplier &amp; operating locations</li><li>
Majority of work performed in a temperature-controlled office environment</li><li>
May be required to sit for extended periods at a desk or computer</li><li>
