Part-Time Website Maintenance &amp; Updates Specialist (Remote | 2 Days/Week)We&rsquo;re hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Website Maintenance &amp; Updates Specialist to support the ongoing upkeep and improvement of two company websites. This is a remote, part-time position requiring approximately 2 days per week, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to make a real impact on our digital presence.In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for maintaining website functionality, updating content, ensuring site security and performance, and handling basic eCommerce operations, including client payment features.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regularly update website content, including text, images, course details, and blog posts</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (e.g., broken links, slow loading pages, outdated plugins)</li><li>Perform security checks, site backups, and basic maintenance tasks</li><li>Ensure all updates align with best practices for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness</li><li>Manage and maintain eCommerce functionality, including setting up and monitoring payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), updating pricing, and ensuring smooth transactions for clients</li><li>Collaborate with the internal team to implement new features or improvements as needed</li><li>Submit a weekly report summarizing completed work, site health, and suggestions for further improvements</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>Experience managing and maintaining websites (WordPress or similar CMS platforms preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript</li><li>Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics or Search Console</li><li>Experience handling basic eCommerce systems or online payments</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently</li><li>Clear communication skills and experience working in a remote environment</li><li>Bonus: Experience managing multiple sites or integrating booking/payment features</li></ul>To Apply:Please submit:<ul><li>Your resume</li><li>Links or screenshots of websites you've maintained or worked on</li><li>A short cover letter explaining why you&rsquo;re a great fit for this role</li></ul>In addition, please complete a brief task as part of your application:Visit the following two websites:<ul><li>https://land2air.ca</li><li>https://a1ta.ca</li></ul>Provide a 1&ndash;2 page report that outlines:<ul><li>Immediate issues or areas for improvement (design, usability, performance, SEO, or eCommerce)</li><li>Suggestions for enhancing user experience and site functionality</li><li>Tools or methods you would use for ongoing management and optimization</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From &#8377;12,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 16 &ndash; 20 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Website Management: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
