Activities Director(Sign on Bonus)The Landings of Prescott ValleyPrescott Valley, AZResponsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, plan, organize and implement resident activities from small groups to large</li></ul>groups of varying abilities, both physical and cognitive<ul><li>Consult and work with other departments in developing appropriate activities as they</li></ul>relate to the physical, emotional and social needs of the individual residents<ul><li>Develop and implement effective methods to encourage resident participation and</li></ul>satisfaction<ul><li>Coordinate resident activities and programs, which are sponsored by community groups</li></ul><ul><li>Develop, plan and coordinate a Community volunteer program</li></ul><ul><li>Plan and implement a monthly calendar</li></ul><ul><li>Manage the department schedule, budget, and activity calendar</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate discussion groups, learning clubs, wellness programs and hands-on workshops</li></ul><ul><li>Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, supervising, coaching and retaining</li></ul>high performing Activities Coordinators and community volunteers<ul><li>Ensure that all activities team members assist the dining experience team during all</li></ul>meals to make the dining experience exceptional<ul><li>Work with the Marketing department to use the community activity calendar to market</li></ul>the community whenever possible and by inviting outside guests, resident families, orinviting media coverage of the events<ul><li>Effectively administers and participates in &ldquo;Manager on Duty&rdquo; program</li></ul><ul><li>Drive residents as needed</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be a self-starter that is creative and able to come up with programs that</li></ul>encourage resident participation and engagement<ul><li>Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and</li></ul>professional manner<ul><li>Creates a positive environment, which encourages creative, positive problem solving</li></ul>and overall job satisfaction for team members<ul><li>Demonstrate exemplary attitude, work ethic, and unwavering integrity</li></ul><ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to an incredible customer service experience</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to relate well to residents and their families</li></ul><ul><li>Self-motivated, organized and professional.
