Job Title: Executive Assistant &amp; Personal Assistant to the CEOCompany: Landoll&rsquo;s Mohican Castle (Loudonville, Ohio)About the RoleWe are looking for a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to support the CEO of Landoll&rsquo;s Mohican Castle. This is a hands-on, flexible role that mixes professional office help with personal day-to-day assistance. You&rsquo;ll help keep everything running smoothly for the CEO across his businesses and personal life.Landoll&rsquo;s Mohican Castle is Ohio&rsquo;s most famous and visited castle hotel, wedding venue, and retreat center with its own on-site restaurant. The CEO also owns several Airbnb vacation rentals in Huron, Ohio and in Southwest Florida, plus a restaurant in Ashland, Ohio. No two days are the same&mdash;this is a great fit for someone who likes variety and enjoys helping out with whatever needs to get done.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Help manage the CEO&rsquo;s daily schedule: book appointments, send reminders, keep the calendar organized, and help build meeting agendas and prepare materials.</li></ul><ul><li>Help build event details and coordinate logistics.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with some digital media tasks such as social media content, photo organization, and updating online listings for the castle, Airbnbs, and restaurant.</li></ul><ul><li>Handle everyday personal and household tasks: pay bills, organize household paperwork and mail, run errands (grocery shopping, post office, dry cleaning, etc.), assist with simple household needs (scheduling repairs, organizing spaces, or other home-related admin), occasionally help tidy up living spaces or office areas as needed, assist with the CEO&rsquo;s dogs (walking, feeding, letting them out, and basic pet care as needed), and keep personal matters on track.</li></ul><ul><li>Support the businesses: answer emails and calls, convey information and messages to castle staff and others, help with guest communications for the Airbnbs, prepare simple documents, and do basic filing or data entry.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist the VP and CFO when needed (including special projects and errands from time to time).</li></ul><ul><li>Occasional travel : drive to the Huron Airbnbs (about 90 minutes away) or other locations for errands or tasks, and travel to Florida properties a few times a year (all expenses paid).</li></ul><ul><li>Assist at the Ashland restaurant when needed (local errands or simple admin help).</li></ul><ul><li>Whatever else comes up&mdash;research quick questions, help at events, or handle last-minute requests.</li></ul><ul><li>Always keep everything confidential and professional.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Previous experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or similar role is a plus but not required (any background is fine&mdash;hospitality or small business is a bonus).</li></ul><ul><li>Self-motivated and someone who stays busy, proactive, and can juggle lots of different tasks without needing constant direction.</li></ul><ul><li>Good with people, friendly, and a positive attitude.</li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable using email, Microsoft Word/Excel, and basic computer skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable car (mileage and all expenses are fully reimbursed).</li></ul><ul><li>Extremely trustworthy and discreet. Must be willing to sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and pass a background check.</li></ul><ul><li>Honest, reliable, and able to work independently.</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible and happy to help with both business and personal things.</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation<ul><li>25-40 hours per week.</li></ul><ul><li>Mostly weekdays, but will include some weekends from time to time. The schedule is flexible.</li></ul><ul><li>Starting pay: $17 per hour.</li></ul><ul><li>One week of accrued PTO to start (builds up as you work).</li></ul><ul><li>We will supply a company laptop for work use. You may be asked to be available after hours occasionally for a quick text or call.</li></ul><ul><li>All mileage, travel, and out-of-pocket expenses are paid back 100%.</li></ul><ul><li>Room to grow and possible raises after 90 days based on how things go.</li></ul>LocationBased right at Landoll&rsquo;s Mohican Castle in Loudonville, Ohio. You&rsquo;ll sometimes drive to Huron for the Airbnbs, Ashland for the restaurant, or fly to Florida (all costs covered).This is a close-working role where you&rsquo;ll get to know the CEO and help him stay on top of everything.
