 Landscape / Horticulturalist

 What This Role Looks Like
 
 
 
 In this role, you&rsquo;ll help lead the day-to-day operations of our Installation / Horticultural Department while ensuring high-quality landscape work across residential and commercial properties.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll be responsible for planning, organizing, and supporting field operations while also working closely with clients and crew members to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Plan and schedule daily operations for the Installation / Horticultural Department
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply best practices in installation, pruning, fertilization, and disease/pest control
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and enhance residential and commercial landscape properties
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and work alongside a crew of up to 2 team members
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle documentation including paperwork, photos, client recommendations, and scheduling site visits
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare change order estimates for clients as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Support consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and project clarity
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with additional landscape installation tasks when required
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in snow operations to support year-round work opportunities
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 What We&rsquo;re Looking For
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for someone with strong horticultural knowledge, field experience, and leadership ability who can confidently manage small crews and client expectations.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience in landscape installation, maintenance, horticulture, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong skills in pruning and general garden bed maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with both organic and chemical treatments for disease and insect control
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license required
 </li>
 <li>
 DOT Health Card required or ability to obtain
 </li>
 <li>
 Pesticide and/or MCLP license is a plus
