Core Responsibilities</b></h3><div><br>
We are looking for an Associate Engineer / Software Engineer with experience in <b>MATLAB/Simulink</b> to join our growing R&amp;D team.<br>
</div><div>

In this role, you will support the <b>design, development, integration, and maintenance of models and software applications</b> within a real-time simulation environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to high-quality software development, testing, and continuous improvement of simulation systems.<br>
</div><div>
<br>
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around <b>1&ndash;3 years of experience</b> looking to develop their career within advanced engineering and simulation.<br>
<br>
Key Responsibilities include:</div><ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain models using <b>MATLAB / Simulink</b>
</li><li>Produce clean, robust, and maintainable code aligned with development standards</li>
<li>Take ownership of assigned components or features</li>
<li>Collaborate with modelling, integration, and systems engineers to deliver project milestones</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews and implement feedback</li>
<li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects</li>
<li>Support integration, testing, and real-time simulation activities</li>
<li>Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Monitor progress and escalate risks or issues when required</li>
<li>Occasional travel to support integration or project activities</li></ul><div><br>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What are we looking for?<br>
</b></h3><br>
<ul><li>Degree (BSc or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field</li>
<li>Experience using <b>MATLAB / Simulink</b>
</li><li>Understanding of <b>real-time systems</b>
</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li>
</ul><ul><li>Automotive engineering experience or strong interest</li>
<li>Experience with <b>Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulators</b>
</li><li>Interest in vehicle dynamics, cars, or driving simulation</li>
<li>Knowledge of <b>EtherCAT / TwinCAT (Beckhoff)</b>
</li><li>Exposure to simulation or control systems environments</li>
</ul><ul><li>Methodical and detail-oriented approach</li>
<li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal)</li>
<li>Team player with a collaborative mindset</li>
<li>Proactive, organised, and accountable</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and grow technically</li>
