Accounting Clerk Intern Reports To: Accounting Manager

Primary Duties:
<ul>
<li>Assist with daily accounting work, such as processing daily bank deposits or maintaining accurate check registers and sub-ledgers</li>
<li>Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions</li>
<li>Assist with valuation work and data compilation</li>
<li>Support the team with various financial analysis projects</li>
<li>Clean up records in the accounting system for accuracy</li>
<li>Assist with data management in NetSuite planning and budgeting</li>
<li>Assist and support where necessary to ensure timely preparation of financial statements</li>
<li>Ensure the accurate and timely recording of day-to-day accounting functions</li>
<li>Assist the accounting team in day-to-day workload</li>
<li>Learn to use accounting systems and how corporate accounting/finance operates</li>
<li>Perform other duties as required by management.</li></ul> 


Internship Details:
<ul><li>Attending internship activities</li>
<li>4 months projected duration</li>
<li>$22 hourly</li>
<li>Part-Time</li>
</ul><ul><li>Must be able to commute to Sandy, UT office.</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel &amp; Word</li>
<li>Self-motivated with strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
</ul><ul><li>Must be enrolled as a senior in an accredited University/College in Accounting, Finance, or MBA program.</li>
