<div>JOB SUMMARY:
The Greenwood LPN is responsible for the provision of quality resident care to the assisted living residents during his/her Greenwood shift. He/she is responsible for supervising; managing and disciplining state tested nursing assistants assigned to the Greenwood unit in order to ensure the continuity and quality of resident care.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience working with the senior population in RCF or LTC setting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:<ul><li>Current Ohio License for Practical Nursing</li><li>BLS Certified (CPR/First Aid)</li></ul>
PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Address resident, family and staff concerns/questions. Relays pertinent information to LPN Supervisor as appropriate.
2. Serves as first-line supervisor to resident assistants. Prepares assignments, communicates resident needs and monitors nursing assistants performance.
3. Completes charting for resident illness or unusual occurrence. Effectively communicates information to residents' responsible parties, physicians and Greenwood team members.
4. Organizes and implements the day to day operations of resident care in accordance with Federal, State, Local and facility standards and regulations. Also assists in maintaining resident records.
5. Ensures all staff on Greenwood follows guidelines in resident care plans, enhancing resident independence and well being according to the facilities' wellness philosophy. Participates in implementation of policies and procedures that govern the operations of Greenwood.
6. Assures delivery of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitors and reports progress.
7. Monitors the wireless nurse call system and staff responses to ensure prompt and high quality services.
8. Acclimates new residents to Greenwood philosophy and protocols. Participates in review of resident profiles with designated team members to ensure appropriate level of service.
9. Accepts responsibility to oversee and discipline staff as is appropriate.

LPN Charge Nurse

<div>SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for assembling and serving meals/snacks to the Crown Center residents according to their menus. The Dietary Aide is also responsible for service, cleaning and some food preparation to the Crown Center dining rooms and satellite kitchens in accordance with all standards.
OUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must have working knowledge of HACCP and OSHA protocols
Must be a detail oriented person and be able to perform duties with great accuracy each day
Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends as assigned
Must be able to interface with people at all levels and with residents in a positive and professional manner
PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:<ul><li>Responsible for proper food delivery to dining rooms per production sheets and plating food in accordance to their meal ticket while working to prevent cross-contamination.</li><li>Understanding of the special therapeutic or mechanically altered offered to the residents.</li><li>Cooking to order, a limited number of menu items per specifications.</li><li>Ensure that food is cooked to and held at the proper temperatures in accordance with the Ohio Uniform Food Code.</li><li>Ensure that food holding temperatures are recorded at each meal.</li><li>Ensure that dishwashing and rinsing temperatures are recorded each shift.</li><li>Ensure that cooler and freezer temperatures are recorded.</li><li>Reporting any unsafe temperatures or other safety concerns to a supervisor.</li><li>Stocking kitchen, dining rooms and pantries with all supplies (snack, milk, napkins, tableware, etc.).</li></ul>
&bull; Clear and reset dining room/wash all soiled dishes, utensils, glassware and tableware. &bull; Complete dining room side work including: folding napkins, filling salt/pepper shakers, filling sugar caddy, etc.<ul><li>Properly clean and sanitize dining room, kitchen equipment, transportation carts and all aspects associated with job function as written in the cleaning schedule and as needed.</li><li>Proper labeling, dating and storage of all food products.</li><li>Perform service techniques and procedures to ensure proper and efficient meal service.</li></ul>
