We are searching for a full-time Financial Accountant to join our CAAS department. This role will be supporting several clients in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to offering compensation that is fair, transparent, and competitive. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time
 
Essential job duties: 
<ul>
<li>Prepare general ledger entries</li>
<li>Accounts payable/receivable</li>
<li>Utility Billing</li>
<li>Perform bank reconciliations</li>
<li>Assist with preparing financial statements</li>
<li>Prepare government-required reports</li>
<li>Advise clients on internal accounting matters</li>
<li>Payroll processing</li>
<li>Compliance reporting</li>
</ul>
Position Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study is required</li>
<li>CPA or actively pursuing a license preferred</li>
<li>0-3 years of general accounting experience</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed</li>
<li>Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Highly motivated, self-starter</li>
