As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in legal research, document management, and case preparation.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.</li><li>Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.</li><li>Assist with litigation processes by managing case files and documentation.</li><li>Perform document review and maintain organized filing systems for easy access.</li><li>Support attorneys in estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, and other areas as needed.</li><li>Facilitate client interviews to gather relevant information for cases.</li><li>Utilize document management systems such as iManage for efficient case handling.</li><li>Maintain communication with clients and other stakeholders while exhibiting professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of assignments.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting is required.</li><li>Familiarity with UCC law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law &amp; regulations, patent law is preferred.</li><li>Strong writing skills with the ability to proofread and transcribe documents accurately.</li><li>Experience with legal administrative tasks including data entry and clerical duties.</li><li>Knowledge of legal case management processes and document review techniques is essential.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A background in executive administrative support is advantageous.
