Job Description:The Law Office of RSB Ltd is a boutique immigration law firm in the Western suburbs of Chicago. We are a firm operated by immigrants, and we fight for our clients to live in a safe place and freedom. We love what we do and we do it with passion and dedication. We are a Global Immigration Law Firm, and we have team members in other states in the US and also in other countries.Our firm focuses on humanitarian applications, (U Visa, T Visa, &amp; VAWA), waivers, TPS, family-based immigration, naturalization &amp; DACA.This is a full-time, in-person position at our office in Warrenville, IL. The schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and you will be reporting to the CEO and Attorney Manager.Responsibilities:&#9679; Stay up to date with changes in immigration law and other immigration-related developments and share developments to ensure staff members understand these changes&#9679; Conduct consultations to determine if clients are eligible for immigration benefits&#9679; File and prepare appropriate forms, briefs, and appeals for USCIS review, and represent clients in interviews before USCIS when requested&#9679; Handle your caseload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of immigration forms and documentation&#9679; Work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity&#9679; Investigate and evaluate complicated legal issues pertaining to your own caseload and the cases of employees who work under your direction.&#9679; Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively&#9679; Communicate with clients, providing updates on case progress and explaining next steps in the immigration process&#9679; Prepare, organize, and file immigration forms with USCIS, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements&#9679; Analyze case documents and collect supporting documentation to strengthen immigration applications&#9679; Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the immigration team including regular scheduled team meetings&#9679; Communicate effectively with various immigration government agencies on behalf of clientsQualifications:&#9679; Must have a law degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of any state bar in the United States.&#9679; At least 3 years of immigration law experience required (U Visa, VAWA &amp; T Visas, RFEs, NOIDs, I-290B and Waivers)&#9679; Experience in using case management software including Camplegal is a plus&#9679; Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is a must&#9679; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail&#9679; Strong writing, analytical, and legal research skills&#9679; Ability to work independently, and lead a team&#9679; Ability to stay organized, manage a high-volume workload, and work under strict deadlines&#9679; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.Benefits:&#9679; Health Insurance&#9679; Dental Insurance&#9679; Vision Insurance&#9679; Paid Time Off&#9679; Matching 401(k) plan&#9679; Extra day off each year as a birthday freebie&#9679; Professional development, including mandatory CLE and bar dues are paidSalarySalary starting at $100,000/year based upon qualifications and experience.How to Apply:To apply for the position of Associate Attorney, please submit your resume and a cover letter to Lorena@lawrsb.com.
