We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our busy law firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal professionals with administrative tasks while providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and office management. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage legal documentation, and assist with various case-related activities to ensure smooth operations within our law office, including but not limited to requesting and incorporating medical records and medical bills. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their legal administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet clients, visitors, and vendors professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient check-in process</li><li>Order office supplies</li><li>Create a client's physical file</li><li>Order and incorporate medical records and medical bills</li><li>Review prior medical records received from defense counsel and incorporate</li><li>Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately and taking detailed messages</li><li>Support attorneys with scheduling appointments, court filings, data entry, and calendar management</li><li>Conduct document review and assist in the preparation of case files for litigation</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven clerical experience within a law office or legal environment with familiarity in legal administrative tasks</li><li>Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members</li><li>Knowledge of legal practice areas such as personal injury law is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to review documents accurately while maintaining confidentiality</li><li>Familiarity with data entry tasks and maintaining organized filing systems both digitally and physically</li><li>Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and client interactions; excellent organizational skills to support attorneys effectively</li><li>Bachelor's Degree preferred, but Associate's Degree required</li></ul>Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services.
