Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our team.Duties As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Conducting legal research: Analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to support case preparation and provide accurate legal advice. (State &amp; Federal);</li><li>Drafting documents: Preparing pleadings, motions, memos, appeals, and other legal documents. (State &amp; Federal);</li><li>Assisting senior attorney: Collaborating on case strategy, gathering evidence, and preparing for trial;</li><li>Client communication: Providing updates, explaining legal processes, and addressing concerns;</li><li>Deposition summaries;</li><li>Trial preparation;</li><li>Appellate briefing; and</li><li>Discovery practice: Drafting discovery requests and responses.</li></ul>Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;</li><li>Admission to the state bar association and in good standing;</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively;</li><li>Exceptional writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation;</li><li>Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities;</li><li>Strong legal research;</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills;</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy;</li><li>Organizational and time management skills; and</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload.</li></ul>We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about practicing law and committed to client advocacy to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Associate Attorney.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
