This is a full time in office position. The candidate we are looking for is a motivated self-starter with 2-5 years of experience in Personal Injury litigation and enjoys all aspects of trial work. Our firm takes a very personal hands-on approach with our clients to obtain the best possible results for their case. We strive for high standards of representation and overall client satisfaction, and you will be instrumental in meeting these goals.Job Duties / Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create relationships with clients and guide them through the litigation process</li><li>Work with clients and medical providers regarding medical treatment</li><li>Work with opposing counsel and the courts system</li><li>Research case law, statutes, jury verdicts, etc.</li><li>Prepare Demands, Motions, Discovery, Disclosures, etc.</li><li>Participate in Mediations, Depositions and Trial</li></ul>Qualifications/Skills:<ul><li>Two &ndash; five years of hands-on experience as a personal injury associate attorney with a working knowledge of personal injury law in Colorado. While our preference is for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience, we are open to considering individuals who possess less experience.</li><li>Must possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills (fluent in written and spoken English).</li><li>Professional Writing Skills: able to draft professional documents that are free of grammar and spelling mistakes.</li><li>Excellent People Skills: able to deal empathetically with clients who are injured and scared, while still maintaining professionalism. Must be aware of and sensitive to cultural differences.</li><li>Competent Computer Skills: able to learn new programs quickly and accurately. FileVine database experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong Critical Thinking Skills: able to problem solve, follow instructions, be creative, use discretion, ask questions when necessary and be detail oriented.</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.</li><li>Must be able to work as part of a team.</li><li>Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.</li><li>Must be able to work fulltime in office.</li><li>Bilingual &ndash; Spanish is a plus</li></ul>Salary range - $90 - $120KAll inquiries are strictly confidential.
