Your expertise will help coordinate case files, communicate effectively with clients and medical providers, and support the legal team in delivering timely, accurate outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful legal work within a collaborative environment that values professionalism, organization, and proactive problem-solving.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, ensuring all documentation and deadlines are met efficiently.</li><li>Conduct client interviews to gather detailed case information and maintain consistent communication throughout the legal process.</li><li>Review medical records, insurance policies, and legal documents to support case development.</li><li>Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.</li><li>Prepare legal documents including pleadings, settlement agreements, and correspondence with precision and clarity.</li><li>Utilize legal case management systems such as PCLaw, iManage, and document management systems to organize case files effectively.</li><li>Conduct legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws including personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and other applicable statutes.</li><li>Assist in trial preparation by reviewing evidence, drafting reports, and coordinating witness interviews.</li><li>Maintain organized records of all case activities, correspondence, and documentation for audit readiness.</li><li>Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and managing phone etiquette to ensure smooth office operations.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong understanding of personal injury law along with familiarity in related areas such as workers' compensation law and legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.</li><li>Effective interviewing skills to gather comprehensive client information accurately.</li><li>Proficiency in legal administrative experience including document review, drafting contracts or settlement agreements, and proofreading legal documents.</li><li>Experience with legal case management software such as PCLaw or iManage; familiarity with document management systems is a plus.</li><li>Strong research skills using Westlaw or LexisNexis to support case development and ensure compliance with applicable laws.</li><li>Exceptional written communication skills for drafting clear reports and correspondence.</li><li>Attention to detail in proofreading documents and transcriptions for accuracy.</li><li>Ability to handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records efficiently.</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette combined with professional organizational skills to support internal teams and clients effectively.
