Busy Capital Region Law Firm seeks to hire a full-time Real Estate Paralegal/Closing Coordinator. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years&rsquo; experience in New York residential real estate and mortgage lending transactions, with a strong working knowledge of SoftPro Select and excellent writing and organizational skills. This candidate should also have experience with real estate closing procedures, including overseeing relevant contingency dates, preparing closing disclosures, bank loan and title documents. Responsibilities will include all aspects of a residential loan closing from attorney approval to post-closing, duties include the following: scheduling closings with all parties, confirming escrow and loan details, title review, ensuring legal due diligence, preparing loan documentation and clearing title exceptions.Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, a creative thinker, possess strong customer service skills, have the ability to think for themselves independently, and enjoy working as part of a team.
