Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Criminal Associate Independent Contractor with 10 years experience with all stages of proceeding from prelim to trial.Responsibilities<ul><li>Experienced all stages of proceeding from prelim to trial.</li><li>Represent clients in court or before government agencies in various legal matters.</li><li>Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.</li><li>Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions.</li><li>Advise clients on their rights and obligations under the law.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas such as securities law and tribal law &amp; regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>10 years of experience</li><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li>Admission to the state bar association.</li><li>Proven experience in Criminal law.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.</li><li>Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
