Mid-sized Loop law firm seeks a full time Legal Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. We are located near all the sources of public transportation. This position will wear many hats from Data entry and suit preparation to assisting the office manager.The main responsibility will be researching property ownership and creating/placing liens. CCRD and property ownership research experience is required.Looking for someone who is a &quot;team player&quot; and willing to go the extra mile to get the work done. This is not a position for you if you need to be micro-managed, as you set your own pace.Experience with researching and filing Liens on property is strongly preferred but not required.Responsibilities include, pulling and creating files, filing in the office, filing out of the office at the Daley Center, City Hall and other locations, running errands, copying, computer work, answering phones and other general paralegal/legal assistant duties as needed. You will be in and out of the office on a daily basis.Knowledge of filing at the Daley Center, the efile system, City hall and the county recorder is a plus but not required.
