Job Summary: Personal Injury firm looking for Attorney who is ready and willing to go to trial.Pay: From 150,000.00 per year.Compensation commensurate with experience.This role will help prepare litigation reports and risk assessments, draft legal documents, and make court appearances on our clients' behalf. The role focus areas are Strategy, Motions, Trial Preparation, Low-level Depositions, Low-level Trials &amp; Mediations, and Research.Duties/Responsibilities:Assist in providing case evaluation, legal support, and guidance.Develop case strategy and find plausible solutions to legal matters.Assist in preparing litigation reports and risk assessments.Attend hearings, depositions, and other court appearances.Attend focus groups.Stay informed about any current legislation.Building trustworthy relationships with clients and experts.Assist with finalizing legal documents such as depositions, pleadings, and contractspromptly and accurately.Assisting in drafting and finalizing complaints, meet and confer letters, motions tocompel and discovery responses.Assist in negotiating low-level settlements and attend mediations.May interview, train, mentor and assist in managing legal staff within their team.Required Skills/Abilities:Willingness to meet personally with clients.Ability to handle a high caseload.Experience or expertise in a specific branch of law.Commitment to abiding by the set laws and behaving ethically.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong critical thinking skills.Excellent public speaking skills.Adaptability and attention to detail.Ability to work on a case independently.Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.Education and Experience:Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school required.Active license to practice law /membership in State Bar.2 +years of related experience.Pay: From $150,000.00 per yearEducation:<ul><li>Doctorate (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Attorney: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>Litigation: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Bar (Required)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $150,000.00 per yearAbility to Relocate:<ul><li>Burbank, CA 91506: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
