LVG is hiring part-time STEM Instructors to support K&ndash;8 after-school programs in New Rochelle, NY. Instructors lead fun, hands-on STEM activities using the provided curriculum in a supportive school-based environment.This role is ideal for college students, tutors, aspiring educators, or STEM majors seeking meaningful, flexible work with children.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Lead engaging STEM and computer science activities for elementary and middle school students</li><li>Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum</li><li>Support positive classroom routines and student engagement</li><li>Serve as a positive role model in a school setting</li><li>Communicate with on-site program staff as needed</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Details<ul><li>Part-time, in-person</li><li>Weekday afternoons (after school hours)</li><li>Paid position</li><li>Training and curriculum provided</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience working with children or youth (tutoring, camps, babysitting, teaching assistant, etc.)</li><li>Comfortable working with K&ndash;8 students</li><li>Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.</li><li>This position requires eligibility to work in a school-based environment in accordance with district and state requirements.</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Experience using MIT Scratch, Minecraft Education or Block Based Coding</li></ul>This Role Is a Great Fit For<ul><li>College students or recent graduates</li><li>Aspiring teachers or educators</li><li>Tutors or teaching assistants</li><li>STEM majors interested in youth education</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hourWork Location: In person
