About <b><i>Beaker&rsquo;s House of Music</i></b><br>
Beaker&rsquo;s House of Music is an educational music program designed to help young children learn music literacy through storytelling, characters, and engaging visuals. Our in-person curriculum is currently being adapted into a digital format that combines storybooks, workbooks, and video-based instruction supported by animation and motion graphics. As we expand into digital production, we are building a creative team to support visual development, design preparation, and future animation work.<br>

Role Overview<br>
We are seeking an <b>Associate Animation &amp; Design Producer </b>to support our visual development and animation preparation process during the early production phase of our digital<br>
program. This role works closely with our team to help organize visual assets, prepare layered artwork, and contribute to design production tasks that support storyboarding and animation.<br>
This role begins by supporting the visual development and design preparation phase of production. However, candidates with animation experience will have opportunities to contribute<br>
to motion design or animation work as the project transitions into video production.<br>

<b>This role is ideal for an early-career creative or emerging professional interested in animation, illustration, visual storytelling, or digital media production. Candidates with</b><br>
<b>prior professional experience are encouraged to apply.</b><br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities</b><br>
<ul><li>Organize and prepare design files for print and digital use</li><li>Support character and environment design by preparing variations, expressions, and layout</li></ul>
adjustments<br>
<ul><li>Translate scripts into visual breakdowns and rough layout boards</li><li>Label and track which illustrations will later become animated vs. remain static</li><li>Prepare resized assets for different formats (storybook, workbook, and video frame)</li><li>Maintain asset organization including file naming, folders, and version tracking</li><li>Develop reference boards, mood boards, and visual research as needed</li><li>Prepare layered artwork that may later be used for animation</li></ul><br>
<b>
Qualifications</b><br>
<ul><li>Degree or training in Animation, Illustration, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a</li></ul>
related field (or equivalent professional experience)<br>
<ul><li>3&ndash;5 years of relevant experience preferred, though strong portfolios from emerging</li></ul>
creatives are welcome<br>
<ul><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required; After Effects a plus)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to follow visual direction and collaborate within an established creative vision</li><li>Familiarity with storyboarding concepts</li><li>Understanding of how illustrations translate into animation</li><li>Interest in animation, design production, or visual storytelling</li><li>Interest in or experience with 3-D animation, particularly character animation, reusable motion elements, or short animated sequence</li><li>Understanding of how animated elements integrate with live-action video or composited footage</li></ul><br>

<ul><li>Interest in educational media, children&rsquo;s programming, or character-driven storytelling</li></ul><br>

Growth Opportunity</b><br>
For candidates with animation experience, this role will expand to include animation or motion work as production progresses. Beaker&rsquo;s House of Music anticipates hiring animation<br>
contributors as the project moves into its video production phase, and compensation may scale based on experience and demonstrated animation capability.<br>
